New "Maria Cunningham" website.

Maria Cunningham was a fine singer of traditional and contemporary songs, and a very fine songwriter in the folk mould.  She left us far too early, but, at least, we have her recordings.  Over the last few months, a collaboration consisting of Steve & Diane Nevill, Carole Etherton & Andrew McKay, Sue Evans and Ann Hilton have been working to create a web site that will allow access to the songs of Maria Cunningham who sadly died on the 1st March 2012 - five years ago. She let it be known before she died that she hoped her songs would be her lasting legacy and that they would be sung as part of the tradition in the coming years. All of her known, recorded material will now be available for everyone to access.

If you visit http://sing4maria.wixsite.com/sing-for-maria
you'll find photos, biography, tributes and, of course, Maria's songs - both sound recordings and lyrics.  A fitting memorial to Maria's life and music.
