Folk News 16th-22nd October
Some good friends of Folk For All can be seen this week: Brian Hooper & Jeff Henry on Sunday, and The Willows has Chris Davis and Jo & Graham, and The Trafalgar Anniversary concert features Shep Woolley and Pete Watkinson - also on Wednesday, dammit. Nationally-known folk such as Gilmore & Roberts, Jim Bainbridge, Mike & Kathryn Tickell, Joe Topping & Scott Poley can also be found, but the Tickell's event was sold out months ago. The annual Sangboc Folk Day at Wineham near Steyning on Saturday is usually great fun, with a folk-rock evening the night before. On the Saturday, Folk For All friend Mike Nicholson will be appearing, and, just recently, the Twagger Band have confirmed. Well worth the trip to Wineham, if you can.
